White lover
Many donkey years ago, anyone who visited Japan would buy a box of this as souvenir. Shiroi Koibito means white lover in Japanese. All those years of watching anime did come to some use.
Each box comes with 12 individually packed biscuits.
It's a good idea to deter you from finishing them up at a go with guilt. However, these dainty biscuits are wasted if you hurry through them. I like to enjoy them with small bites, nibble even.
There are two versions available based on the filling. One is white, the other dark chocolate. Although my preference is for the latter, I find that the former is better in this case.
The packaging has been designed to allow for proper opening. Instead of having crumbs all over your finger, slowly bite it out from the packaging. They are not overly sweet but does pair well with tea. Coffee would be just too bitter.
Fast forward to present day, you can easily get them from any Japanese store locally but last I recall, a box would easily cost RM 40.
