Located at the same row as the more famous Sanuki Udon, I came here for lunch on my date's recommendation who works in this hood. The same sounded rather Chinese but we were here for ramen.
Gyoza or pot stickers. I wonder if the Westerners gave up of thinking of a name for this dish that they just went by how it looked like. This one certainly stuck to the pan a bit, as evident by the crunchy bottom. The skin was not too thin and the filling was meaty, paired well with the ginger and soy sauce cocktail.
Ramen and half boiled egg. Much cheaper than those chain ramen shops, it's a smaller portion but still enough to satisfy the average joe unless your appetite is on the bigger side. The noodles are definitely a step lower and soup not as rich. However, for the average office workers, this is quite good for the price that you pay.
Same ramen but with more stuff. The roast pork, though kinda thin, is still a large piece on its own. I prefer it this way (smaller bowl, lesser on the porky flavor intensity and ultimately cheaper). The wonders it does to your diet conscience.
The egg certainly deserves a standing ovation. Firm egg white with a runny yolk, who would have thought this little discreet joint would be able to conjure up such magic.
