Sri Petaling is fast becoming a food hub. Unfortunately, there are equally as many trying their luck here yet failed, as evident by the high number of shops untenanted. Only the remaining ones have managed to set their footing firmly on the ground. Yugami may turn out to be one as they seem to enjoy brisk business during dinner times.

Craving for some steamboat and having read good reviews about this place, we decided to give it a try. They did right by providing different sauces. Fried shallots to go with soy sauce is as original as it gets. 2 different chili sauce: one is like the chicken rice type, the other has a slight citrus twist. Both are equally good in my books. The last one is some sort of paste. I didn't particularly like it but it's probably meant for those who can't take chili.

Ordered the set for two and as usual, some carbs to finish you off. You can pick the basic fish head soup or one with its flesh. Obviously, there's a price difference. By quite a fair bit.

As such, you do get a rather large portion. There's the usual greens and seafood. Relatively fresh and it comes with some more unusual thing like tomato and the pork wrapped enoki.

The soup turned out to be rather well deserved of its reputation. Without that fishy taste, you get a cleaner flavor and it doesn't feel too heavy. Maybe lots of MSG but certainly one of the better steamboats in town .
