Review: Le Bread Days, Subang SS15 [CLOSED]

The very shop that first married the croissant with the humbly yet very addictive salted egg yolk, Le Bread Days caused chaos on the Internet when news broke on their croissant that featured a melting filling. This is was something unheard of then. It would have been the equivalent of Roti Boy  when they first came out. My father would buy us those buns on his way back. Sure, they were good but enough to go queue up for it? Nah.

It was the same for this. Things got out of hand that some people took to the cyber space to rant about the bakery's inefficiency and how sorely disappointed not to get any after all the time wasted waiting. I was a wee bit curious to see what the fuss was about but my laziness is handy at times like this. A friend once bought it for us. Not sure if the croissant was not fresh or needs some reheating, it was entirely unspectacular.

As such, I thought I should do it justice by having it in the shop itself. Located at  a quieter street near the SS15 neighborhood, you can opt to eat in with a cup of coffee. That is also if the place is still there. If not, perhaps try your luck at their PJ SS2 branch instead.

Does this look like something worth spending hours and effort to get? Not really.
Did it taste stupendously good? It's different and definitely more interesting than your usual croissant.

Was it worth the wait? 5minutes only, so still bearable. They reheated this so that the filling oozes out when you reach the middle. You can most certainly taste the salted egg yolk coupled with a hint of butter. The croissant itself wasn't crunchy/flaky enough unfortunately.

I hate to say this but it was quite a disappointment.
