Started from Malacca, this place finally branched out to Klang Valley when this outlet opened its doors. There is also another in Sunway Giza to cater to the Chinese ah bengs who want to impress their lala girlfriends.
Since we were neither ahbengs or girlfriend of somebody who is, we dropped by this outlet for some dessert. Also because it was within walking distance after dinner.
In case if you don't know, Nadeje is the place to go to for mille crepe. If you are in Malacca, it's one of the things not to be missed along with Jonker Street. So, it's great that you don't need to make that drive down south for a slice of sweet creamy goodness.
One thing though, mille crepe is an indulgence. It's cream after cream after cream.
I think cream pie would be less sinful though admittedly, that is whole different sort of sin altogether.
Original version.
For beginners, I'd recommend you go for the no frills version to understand what mille crepe is all about. This is sweetness in its pure form. There is a sweet pulling factor here that makes this cake good.
Cafe mocha.
Once acquainted, make your way through its variations. This coffee tinted version is a delight for any caffeine lover. Having said that, don't expect to get that adrenaline rush because it is just a tinge of coffee flavor. The cake is still sweet overall with chocolate.
Strawberry chocolate. Though it may have been rum and raisin :D
Either way, this was a good cake.
After all that, don't think about the calories from all the cream and chocolate and sugar that you just consumed. You cannot possibly, humanely get rid of them at a go.
