the moral compass
What if I asked a particular friend out because I was hoping that she'll buy me dinner as she had in previous occasions? Am I still a good friend? Or does that render me a conniving bitch? I didn't ask for her to pay but she always does.
The said friend was actually home alone and sick, hadn't had dinner plans yet. So I picked her up and we headed out for dinner. Somehow, as planned, I got my free dinner.
What do I qualify for? A grifter? A manipulative friend? A charitable soul?
Sometimes my moral compass is so skewed that it makes it all the harder to accept the things I do.
But, she saw it fit to give me this along with two mandarin oranges.
I need more friends like that. Be one? =D
