I always thought this was located right outside of Pavilion but it is actually further down the road. Goes to show how often I venture into this part of the country. After dinner, we adjourned here for coffee.

It was half past 11pm when we got here, no thanks to the horrendous traffic. The chocolate cake has probably been there for awhile because it was (apparently) quite dry. I tried the macaroon (usually RM 3.50 per piece) and it was just so-so. Not overly sweet or chocolate-y.

Cheese tart. A bit of a letdown because it wasn't cheesy enough and tad bit dry.

Mango juice RM 8.50. Very fresh and pulp-y it seems.

Madeleines RM 3.50 for pack of three.

First time I heard about this was from a cooking website. The recipe looked simple enough but the pan was uncommon. When a friend went to Paris for holiday, I actually asked him to help me get it. Thankfully enough, he couldn't find any. It would be funny to see him explain why he had a pan in his baggage :D

With a slight hint of orange, its crispy outer shell surprises you with a soft spongy cake inside. Not too sweet and very good with a cup of coffee. Or tea. Or even on its own.

Cafe mocha. For something less than RM 10, this cup of coffee was a pleasant surprise without the usual bitterness. Smooth and creamy all the way. It was a big mug to boot. Certainly money well spent even if it wasn't mine :P
