Located opposite the voluntary firemen hut, this seemed to be a popular spot for tourists. Parking can be quite a hassle if you are there during the peak hours.

Can't decide what to order? Point and order then. Very good for indecisive folks such as moi. But that also backfires because I usually want to eat EVERYTHING. Or maybe that's just the hunger talking.

The place was surprisingly very clean. It was a very sunny day and it lit up the whole place but the heat didn't get to us in the restaurant as it had good ventilation.

Stir fried prawn with chilli. Not overly spicy, I like this very much as it has a nice bite to it.

Spicy Teochew style porridge with fish ball and fish fillet. A rather light dish, it relied solely on the freshness of the fish to give it the sweet flavor. For some, it maybe on the bland side but the fish balls were springy.

Deep fried fish fillet. Anything deep fried is good. This was no exception but Noble House has now sort of set the bar really high when it comes to deep fried fish fillet with its chunky fried tuna. Frying is a waste of fresh fish but when done right, it can actually work.

Tofu with minced pork. Something for the kids. Totally not spicy at all.
A simple homely dish that'll make you want to add on the rice.

Stir fry shark with bitter gourd, fermented bean and lots of ginger. First off, there isn't much flesh. If anything, there are more bones. The meat is slightly tough, unlike the usual variety. I find the fish is overshadowed by the ingredients that it just faded into the background.

Steamed sting ray with dried chilli. For someone who don't like this type of fish due to its pungent fishy taste, this cooking method made it somewhat bearable. Again, this fish doesn't have much flesh and there is a certain technique to eating them .
