The main rival of Kim Gary, there aren't as many branches or perhaps Kim Gary has got my heart string because it was my first HK cafe. It's always the first ones that are the hardest to let go. They both offer similar stuff with even similar concepts. However, I personally prefer Kim Gary as their menu makes more sense. Wong Kok sometimes has some ballsy creations which make me scratch my head.47300 Petaling Jaya

My very first time was actually in their One Utama branch. It was their rice in superior soup with fish. It was weird. Not bad weird but I can't say it was good weird either. Tuna if I'm not mistaken and it tasted a bit fishy. Not bad fishy but it was a fish. So memorable to this day but it is hard to pinpoint if it tasted good or bad... Just ....... weird.
Yin Yong in HK Style RM 4.80, fresh lemon tea RM 5.20
Their drinks tasted a bit diluted but I like their thinner straws so that it takes more effort to drink and longer to finish.
Like Kim Gary, they offer sets which came with soup and dessert. While Kim Gary no longer has the dessert option (boo hoo), Wong Kok's soup doesn't taste as good.
Cheese baked spaghetti in Portuguese sauce RM 19.40
One thing's for sure, their portion is bigger than Kim Gary's. Look at all that slightly burnt cheese. It's one of those things that you best enjoy while it's still hot or you'll come to regret it when it cools down. Actually, you'll regret it anyway because you'll burn your tongue then. Worse still, end up with a sore throat.
Fried spaghetti with sliced beef RM 14.70
Leave it to HK people to come up with a Chinese dish with a Western ingredient. Ok, so the Koreans do that too but this one managed to still allow the original ingredient work its way through.
