Having a Korean fanatic friend has its perks. Like introducing us to good Korean food. Myself, for one, don't have a discerning taste when it comes to Korean food. Which is why I ended up in one of those very predictable franchise.

Korean fried chicken has been making waves. Did the K-drama help to cement their footing on Malaysian soil? Sorry but K/J/C-drama ain't my thing. Basically any Asian drama rarely ever gets in my playlist. Partly because their plot is cheesy/predictable/common. Partly because I don't understand what they are saying and the subtitles are usually not in English.

However, you don't need to understand or even know a tiny bit of Korean here to order as their menu does come with English translation. Also, food is rather universal. If it looks good, chances are high that it'll taste as well. Just don't let my photography skill fool you here as these wings were delicious. Skin was crispy and thick with honey that stuck to your fingers, giving new meaning to finger licking good.

If not because they are pricey, I would give up KFC for them.

Fish cake military soup RM 60
The idea behind army stew was actually during the war days when the soldiers would throw everything into a single pot and let it cook away. In today's society, it's also called the lazy person's meal. There's nothing lazy behind the presentation here. So symmetrical 😅

There's the usual refillable Korean side dishes to cool you down from all that kimchi.

Rarely have I come across one that I particularly. It's just that their flavor profiles don't jive with my taste bud. Unfortunate because imagine how much I can eat since it's refillable.

Stew in the making. They bring it to your table and pour in the soup. Let it cook away.

Depending on your outtake on spicy food, you either love or hate it. For me, it was good in the name of culinary adventure. To try it again would be either with friends or it was free 😆And it was a rainy night.

This is one of those things that it's good to try once. And only once. Especially if you're paying for it.
