 Despite there being another very established banana leaf restaurant in this hood, Aunty Manju opened up to much fanfare and people were raving about its curry mutton. Since it's not too far away, we decided to come here for a lunch. Although it was a public holiday, parking was scarce and so was empty tables when we got there. When we finally did get a seat, it took some time before our order was taken. Eventually, the food arrive but that also took a bit of repeated requests. Business was that good.

Was the food as good? Yes, the curries were spot on, spicy enough but not too. The vegetables are not your usual mush of fiber. If only their service is as good.

Fried chicken and curry mutton. It was quite a big piece of chicken that's juicy on the core. The mutton was heavy with spices, cooked until just tender. Quite worth the reputation.

Would I come back here again? Maybe if parking isn't such a hassle and service improves.
