When they first opened up many years ago, everyone was excited about this particular dish. People would drive all the way to this very isolated part of Subang that lacked proper lighting or even evenly tarred road just to catch a bite. I probably waited for too long because you may have already gone there and got tired of it. But hey, good things (kinda) last forever and Brother Yat is still in business so that's a good sign.

Located within the factory neighbourhood of Subang, the place is rather hidden away and quite dark. So, I wouldn't recommend coming here alone if you cannot kick ass (literally). Sure, these prawns were big and juicy, seeping with the beer flavor but is it worth it? Maybe come during the daytime when it's bright and lesser chance of being mugged/kidnapped/raped/murdered in the dark.

Thai style fried fern.
Forget about the sambal version because this is da bomb. The slight sweet light sauce with the crunchy nuts and salty fried anchovies make this a somewhat healthy snack that even the kids may like (if they don't mind that tiny wee bit of chili).

Thai style fried pork ribs.
I was a little concerned about have two Thai style dishes but they turned out all right as this one is actually deep fried bones pork then coated with mayo and chopped nuts. Also something the kids will like due to the sweetness and crunchiness if you are not worried about them chocking on the bones.

Deep fried squid with salted egg.
By now, you could probably tell that the meal is going my way with its Thai fusion, deep fried galore and omfg... Two of my favorite things on a plate. They coated the squid just enough for the batter to stick without masking it at all. You can most certainly taste the salted egg here. Oh so heavenly 😍

Stir fried intestines with chili.
I don't know, man. Like really. Why.... They taste good in my pork noodle or even pepper pork soup. This is just bordering on Fear Factor for me.
