Would you go all the way to across Midvalley from PJ for pan mee? I wouldn't usually but since it's damn famous, might as well see what the fuss is about. Especially since it's been around for awhile. The place doesn't really have a signboard but it's not hard to spot it with the zinc roof and a stall front manned by a Chinese uncle. Oh and the crowd is quite a dead giveaway.

They serve pan mee in different styles. So, if pan mee ain't your thing, maybe just skip it.

 Loh (pan) mee
Nothing completes it like a dash of vinegar. The fried lard does make this even more welcoming in the rainy weather. Be warned, this place is by the side of the road and the puny wall fan can barely blow so sweat away from this hot soup and spicy chili.

Chow (pan) mee
It is my first time trying out stir fried pan mee. It's weird but sorta works. I would say the taste profile is similar to hokkien mee but not as sweet and has a hint of pork in here. Maybe want to run a mile after this.
