The first 24hour cafe in Klang Valley, of course it made a splash because where else can you get a hipster caffeine fix at 4am in the morning? And with a cheeky name like that (at least to all you Unix/Linux folks), who wouldn't be compelled to see what the fuss is about?
It's a single shoplot with quite a few chairs and tables to make working from
They even provide few WiFis so that you don't have to kill your data streaming YouTube. Why would anyone go outside to pay for drinks while surfing the Internet when they can do it in the comforts of their own home? For me it's the need for human touch. But mainly because the weather's hot and my house got no air conditioner.
Although they started off as a cafe serving coffee and small bites, they've since started offering meals too. Would this be a good place to catch up? Honestly, not really. It's not conducive for large groups because there are some people here who's trying to finish that assignment or not fail a subject (again).
But still, that didn't stop us from coming here for a quick bite. With a cup of joe at less than RM 10, it's not a very expensive outing.
Quiche if you're looking for a quick bite. It's a vegetarian dish filled with egg, topped with mushroom. Personally, not my favorite. The taste is all right, I just don't like the dish in general.
Of course, they have to give you at least a decent coffee art because if you're not here to study, you're here to make your Instagram look pretty. It's not a particularly large cup but does give a nice caffeine boost.
Latte was milder and cooler looking. No coffee art but you still get that caffeine boost.
It's unfortunate that they used social media to propel themselves into the limelight but it's also social media that may bring them down. Such a double edged sword.
