Looking for some good pizza and burgers? Why not give this place a try?

Quite possibly one of the first proper cafes in this enclave, everyone was raving about their wood fire oven pizza built into the restaurant. Yep, that's the one on the left with the brick wall.

Word of mouth grew about how good their burgers and pizzas were. So, I thought it'll be a good place for a blind date meetup.

Fortunately, he was accommodating enough to my early dinner request since I was still on AU shift then. It's quite rare to be able to find someone who's willing to have dinner at 6pm. Sometimes due to work commitment, sometimes people find it's just too early at all.

Growing up, my dinner times were usually 7pm (earliest) but it's closer to 8pm since both my parents worked. It was a foreign concept to my (then) friends as their parents/grandparents/maid/chef would start preparing dinner at 4pm so that everyone could tuck into a good meal at 6pm or 6.30pm latest.

My date decided to try their burger. Portion is quite big.

Big kahuna: Beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, beef bacon, sunny side up egg, jalapenos, onions strings and kahuna sauce.

 I could be wrong on which burger it really was but the jalapenos and runny yolk are kind of a dead giveaway. The feedback was the burger was not bad albeit big even for a guy.

We both agreed that their pizza 🍕was certainly way more interesting than their burgers. For starters, thin crust! Although there wasn't enough salmon to have a better ratio of fish to everything else, they were fresh and the capers gave the dish more flavor. The cheese was also good, nothing at all like those franchised pizzas.

Quattro Formaggi RM 38: white sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, blue cheese, parmesan, garlic, rosemary.
Carne: tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy beef chorizo, ground beef, beef pepperoni, beef brisket strips, jalapenos
Yes, you can opt for two flavors in one pizza. It's a great idea if it's a small party and you're up for trying more. The cheese combination were excellent with that almost strong blue cheese which certainly made it taste like some fine dining (or at least that's what I imagine it to be). The beef one turned out to be a slightly spicy affair, thanks to the jalapenos and chorizo. It may sound like a lot of meat but I'm not one to complain about it. Anyway, the ground beef is relatively bite size so you won't feel like a carnivore.

Ordered this after the pizza and big mistake as the dinner crowd was in full swing so it took quite sometime before this finally arrived. Luckily it was worth the wait with its crispy texture. The batter is rather light so you don't feel like it's a lot with each bite. Perhaps I am late into the game but omfg Nutella 😍
