 What's better than steamboat after a long and rainy day? Not being stuck in traffic or having to hunt for parking would be one. But, steamboat is good too.

Although it's been around for few years, there were always other joints to go to until last week. Wanting to try a new steamboat place, I came here for dinner with a grumbling tummy.

 Can you take the heat or not? For me, the chili sauce plays a pivotal role. It shouldn't mask the flavors of the food, merely enhance it. Happy to say that this one and their chili oil (not pictured) did a good job at it.

You can build your own menu or order this pre-selected set at RM 48, good for people who's brain dead after a long day at work. Pick two choices of soup for another additional cost of about RM 35, depending on your choices. Most certainly not cheap. The ingredients were at least not bad i.e. not not fresh. There were enough to go to satisfying two people here.

 We usually can't finish the noodles that are always saved for the last but we managed to this time. It was nice that they let you swap the boring yee mee to udon and spinach noodle. Both tasted great, had good texture.

I have to say that for the price that they charge, the pork bone soup tasted somewhat watered down. Only the tom yum managed to salvage it back. Unless it was a particularly grueling day and with loads of cash to splash, this place will not be in my shortlist anymore.
