Bars of (almond) gold

Introducing one of the best chocolate. Ever.

A friend bought this for me from his Langkawi trip. Having seen them before on the supermarket shelves, I didn't give much thought to it.

Made in New Zealand, it's basically a bar of chocolate filled with whole almonds.

You may be thinking, what's the big deal? It is just another piece of chocolate 🍫
Yes and no.

It is chocolate. With almonds. Like LOTS of almond. Other chocolate bars tend to be quite stingy when it comes to nuts. If you're lucky, you get about 30% nuts, 70% chocolate.
With Whittaker's Almond Gold, we are talking about an almost equal ratio of both. Although my preference is for dark chocolate, these were fine since you actually do get to bite and taste the almonds.

If your girlfriend is having her hormones acting up, throw few bars of these to her. You can buy it from Tesco and even Lazada (apparently). No, this is not a paid advertorial. But feel free to buy me some of these.
