Puchong is a very confusing neighborhood. There's Bandar Puchong, Puchong Jaya, Bandar Puteri and a whole host of others which I'm sure I'm unaware of. But, rumor has it: Puchong is not for human live one.

At least they have plenty of food choices and variety. If only the same could be said of their parking spots. This is a relatively new cafe and they seem to be doing well enough with its Japanese-Western fusion offering. They have a section of its menu dedicated to sets that are relatively affordable. Mostly below RM 30 which included an appetizer, a soup, rice, main and drink.

Ginger pork steak cutlet RM 16.50
The appetizer (on the bottom left) tastes like Chinese pork spring roll with a touch of sweet chili sauce. Not quite Japanese tasting but it was not bad. The main course had more cabbage than meat that it's as though the pork is the side dish here. Luckily enough, the salad was fresh and crunchy with a hint of dressing. The ginger flavor is subtle enough to go along with the meat. Only complaint here is it was an overall dry dish as there wasn't enough sauce to go around with the rice.

 Hamburger set RM 17.50
I've always been intrigued by the Japanese version of hamburger or as they pronounce it, ham-bah-guh desu.

The same spring roll but smaller salad with just as good quality. I found that the carrot and broccoli could have used a bit more time in the steamer as they were a tad bit too crunchy. The hamburger itself was made of minced pork and was not too dried out on the inside. The gravy was sweet with a hint of sourness but in a good way.

If you want some non-traditional Japanese meal, give this place a try.
