There have been quite a number of Korean fried chicken popping up in Klang Valley that it's difficult to keep up with them. Actually, mostly my cholesterol level and purse that can't. I do like fried chicken but KFC has been doing a good enough job of satisfying my craving for them crunchy, oily, sinful pleasure that I didn't see a need to break away and cheat on Colonel Sanders.

But occasionally, it's good to see what the market has to offer. So we came here for dinner one day as we had no better idea. I really was hoping for great taste from eating fresh food as the food took some time to arrive despite being the only other table at the time.

Beef rice burger with potato and grilled vegetable.

The beef is hidden underneath that rice patty which was not your boring plain rice, thanks to its blend of spices and seaweed. The cubes of potato were somewhat healthier as it wasn't fried though that mayo and cheese sauce just make it kinda fattening. Then the grilled vegetables comes and tell you not to worry because they are just lightly seasoned with salt and pepper.

It was a little puzzling as most of the ingredients don't seem to fit together but they all do taste not bad on its own. I just don't see how they make into a meal. It's like that awkward family reunion where you meet up once a year and know people by name and bound together by blood yet are still strangers. But you're all good folks. In your own ways.

It would be a sin to come here and not order their fried chicken. Since my date is not into hot/spicy food, we took the original flavor. As you may observe, the chicken pieces are substantially smaller than KFC's, what more Texas. They are still oily but the taste of it is definitely better. There isn't that stale or greasy flavor. Sent straight from the fryer to the table, of course they were delicious. Anything is when it's served hot. Except for spoilt soup. And I know that from experience.

Would I come back here again? Well, maybe if someone is buying. And I'm not too hungry because it would cost a lot to feed me well here.
