Review: Spectre

Having not watched the precursor, this didn't quite make sense to me. What's worse was for my movie date who had to answer me questions e.g. why is M a man (the female M died). As with any Bond movie, there is the high speed chase, destroying of very expensive things (namely cars) while looking good when doing them (mostly Daniel Craig).

Of course, there is the cliche of boning almost every female character. Is that something that goes without saying? If memory serves me right, Quantum of Solace is the one Bond movie (of Craig's) where he only slept with the secretary (the unfortunate and short lived Gemma Arterton who thankfully had her moment in Prince of Persia). As what some people have said, Spectre  turned out to be rather lackluster in comparison to the previous films. Perhaps, it is returning to its pre-Daniel Craig glory days, banking in on the male chauvinism.
