Would that stretch between Bandar Utama and Kota Damansara fall under the latter or just Tropicana? I think many of their residents would be unhappy if you lump then under Kota Damansara because the prices here hover around RM1000psf. Personally, Kota Damansara is the slightly more affordable Damansara neighborhood but that also means you don't get that upper class feeling there. Persiaran Tropicana,

Terracotta Cafe would easily make it into anybody's Instagram cafe list with its bright and airy decor, thanks to the ceiling-to-floor glass entrance. The cafe is divided into half; one part cafe, the other for kitchen and boutique. Their main selling point seems to be the blue pea flower which appears throughout their menu. I mean, wouldn't you want a blue tea?
Well, my lunch date didn't and ordered a peppermint tea instead.
For RM 11, you get a pot of tea with a (half) slice of lemon and some honey. For additional cups, that'll be RM 3 each. I don't know if it's refillable. But if it is, would you still pay for the extra cup? Here's my life hack: share a cup where the drinks are refillable. It probably wouldn't look good on you but hey, in the long run, you save more. Who cares what those waiters think of your stinginess?
They also provide free drinking water here .
Iced lemonade. Can you spot the boutique on the left side? It's really just two aisles of clothes, mainly Korean fashion. I wasn't there for clothes so didn't check those out.
Cappucino RM 11.
Surprisingly not watered down, quite full bodied. Unfortunately, I waited until after my meal so it was cold already by then. Apparently, in Mandarin Oriental hotel in Japan, the staff would change your cup of coffee if it's been sitting there for too long. I wish we had that kind of service here though the waiter is more likely to go, "eh, who ask you don't drink early early?no need take so many pictures or talk cock so long".
Cheese stuffed mushroom. Bite sized appetizer with a mustard sauce. Not exactly a crowd pleaser.
Butter lady spaghetti
A creamy sauce with some chili flakes to spice things up, the verdict was just so-so.
Lacy white pasta
Served with mushroom, onion and chicken, it looked like it could use more sauce. Taste was just all right.
Big breakfast RM 25
Quite standard fare but thumbs up for the presentation. I like that they gave better-than-average sausage and croissant was quite fluffy with a slightly crunchy outside. Hash brown wasn't crunchy enough sadly.
These were taken using the Samsung J3 and turned out better than my Redmi Note4.
