 Most Thai restaurants try to cater to the masses but not here because Old Siam serves pork, much to jl's joy. So it was a no brainer for us to have a quick catch up here.

This one is similar to the local version, still very sweet.

Verdict on this was just OK.

 Khau kruk kapi RM 12.90: Thai belacan rice served with sweet pork
It's nice that they took the effort with the presentation, though that smile looks a bit more sinister than happy. Well, at least they all tasted quite good.

 Moo phad phed RM 12.90: stir fried pork in Thai curry patse served with THai fragrant rice and fried egg
They have this in chicken and beef as well but nothing like pork curry. Also because it's hard to come by.

Curry was rather rich and creamy, the fatty pork certainly benefited from it much. It wasn't too spicy and good to have with the rice.
