An ex-colleague introduced this place to me a long time ago. Maybe almost a decade ago. The fact that it's still around must mean something. Since we didn't have much of a plan for a special new year dinner, we popped by to see how they managed to survive all this while.
Although this is listed under their junior menu section and the waiter would tell you that it's a small bowl for a kid, don't believe them. It's a fairly large bowl with quite a lot of fish balls, fish cake slices and noodle. I do like the fish cake which has a nice bite. Soup is on the light side.
This one has a lot going on. Squid, shrimps, fish balls, fish and lala. I don't know if it's the norm or the season that they gave us loads of lala. Most of them were fresh too. The soup has a stronger seafood taste than the other bowl. Almost fishy but not quite. Quite expensive but you can probably share this.
