Serving bah kut teh without the claypot? Almost atrocious but I decided to give this place a try since it's supposedly famous. Also because  the other one was closed. Located at a corner of the busy intersection that leads to another hidden gem, this place was buzzing with activity despite the heavy downpour.

We braved the rain and made it to the restaurant. Service was quick. Food arrived promptly. For two pax, we had the pai kuat (ribs), golden mushroom and yau char kway. Unlike Klang's version, most of Klang Valley's herbal pork soup are quite light on the palette. This one has more of a herbal taste and not as thick/oily. I do like both variations and sometimes, this one feels less guilty.
