We were looking for a brunch spot and this one caught our attention with its bright green signboard. Being the sucker that I am, we decided to see what's good here.
Despite offering local favorites, their prices are not so favorite. Quite expensive for the amount that you are paying.
While the curry was not bad, the meat was tough. It came with three blocks of mutton, not bite size and it took a bit of effort to pull them apart. Nor did it help that they use the lean section of the animal. So not amused at the amount of effort required just to eat it. Not worth it.
It wouldn't make sense to come here and not order their signature dish. The rice was fragrant with coconut oil. Sambal is on the sweet side. As for the meat, this one fared only slightly better than the mutton. Rather spicy and goes well with the rice.
I like their bread that's rather fluffy. Unfortunately, they sliced it a bit too thinly so nothing much to eat.
