I quite like this statue as it look rather realistic and the features on her face were beautiful.

However, from the side angle, you could see her expression of annoyance more clearly. I would be too if I was hanging out on my bed naked and saw a scorpion.

If these statues were ever brought into Malaysia for an exhibition, the amount of censorship would endless streams of black cloth to cover their modesty.

A rather spectacular work out of marble, Antonio Corradini's work revolve mainly veiled women and these are all carved. The realism is almost out of this world.

Likewise, do women generally look like this i.e. not much of a flabby tummy?
