Movies: Anti-Christ

If the names sound familiar, it's because of Nymphomaniac. Seeing William Dafoe not as a villian is a bit strange. Either the characters for Charlotte Gainsbourg is the same or her expression is. I knew this was an artistic film but didn't quite expect it to be horror.

While it has moments of suspense, some of it borders onto gore. Luckily, I watched it at home so can fast forward some of those. You don't exactly need too much of brain cell or concentration to get the story. I would say it's somewhat heavier than Nymphomaniac but more accessible to a wider audience.

There are still some sex scenes but the focus here is on a mind going crazy.
