Tea & croissant: Look up in the Louvre
The Louvre is essentially few buildings pieced together to form a very large one. When moving from one into another, it feels quite seamless.
As a matter of fact, it may be difficult to even know where you are unless you pay attention to a map in hand.
However, there are some which certainly stands out more than the rest. Each building has its own theme and purpose in the past. Now, they only have one: to amaze you with the level of detail.
I do pity the guy who painted it there in the first place. The neck must have been strained for weeks, if not months.
In the middle of the ground, there was a skylight which allows soft light to penetrate and illuminate the marble walls.
Or maybe I could have been wrong about the artificial lighting that looked damn natural.
Broken pieces pieced together as best they could.
