Tea & croissant: Louvre on the inside

While we were prepared for horrendous waiting, the queue here was quite reasonable. Not sure why but generally, the travel websites suggest to come early and expect to wait for a while outside.

What I didn't expect was the crowd. As the Chinese saying goes, mountain people mountain sea. Or something like that. And the place was huge inside.

From the inside out of the Louvre Pyramid.

If you're not a history buff, the mall that's adjacent to it is quite worth the visit. Small but the shops are rather interesting.

This is located at the other exit/entrance which is closed at night. They were all in French.

A group of tourist on deciding where to go first. Or maybe they're local. I can't really tell.
It's best to take a map of the place because it is huge and you really want to cover the entire ground. Go there early in the morning or just after lunch as it'll take you at least half  a day to see them all. The place can be quite a maze so factor in some time in finding your way around.

The underground structure is a good place to start your hours long visit.
