Unwinding into 34: After dark

If you can't catch the sunrise, you should at least catch the sunset. And the sunsets here are nothing short of relaxing. This was at the beach around 6.30pm. There wasn't much activity and people were starting to pack things up.

Here's the night scene with flash on. As you can expect, the only other people around are equally curious tourists. Although the entire beach was deserted, I didn't want to take the risk sitting out there. Even if there isn't any robbers/muggers/murderers/kidnappers to attack, the mosquitoes were having a feast on my legs.Oh yes, do stock up on mosquito repellent on top of sunscreen if you plan to be outdoor in the evening.

I know, these look scary and indeed it was because the entire place was pitch dark, no street lamp. That yellow line in the middle are the lights from Pangkor Laut Resort. When I asked around for recommendations related to Pangkor, that name keeps popping up. Unsurprisingly, none of them had ever been there as one night would cost RM 857. Cheapest. Per room. That sort of comes up to about RM 440 per pax since the room can accommodate two.

Here's a little something to make up for that.
