Their first Klang Valley outlet is actually in 1Utama but I think that has since closed down or changed to something else. It's funny because they started off as Miam Miam then rebranded to Franco. Not that I was eavesdropping, I did overhear a conversation from (possibly) the owner about franchising opportunity and how it's going to be big.

Well, the fact that they managed to expand into malls in  KL certainly speaks of something. Whether those are profitable or not, it's a different story altogether.

Our first date was in the 1Utama outlet. We went to the one in Paradigm Mall for my birthday celebration. I also had the opportunity to try the one in IOI City  Mall when colleagues came down for business. Those are the best kinds 😉

Iced matcha RM 10.80 & iced matcha latte RM 12.80. We looked at them both and were surprised as both were quite similar to the other. For that kind of price, total ripoff.

A birthday special which is really a not-so-special salad. It's just lettuce, cherry tomato, corn and chicken slices topped with cheese powder.

Lobster bisque pasta Rm 31.80: Taste the effort put into this slow cooked broth with every spoonful of its savory rich soup base, complemented with cheese and grilled tiger prawn.

This item is unfortunately no longer available on their menu. Quite sad because it was delicious. There isn't that fishy taste and different from the usual tomato based pasta.

You can also taste the cheese powder but I guess nobody liked this as much as I did 😢

 Croque Madame RM 16.80
It's basically just a ham sandwich topped with an egg. Not too sure how this tasted as it was our first  second date and I didn't want to let him on early that he would be spending the rest of our times together having to let go off his food to me.

Spaghetti Yumeina RM 24.80: secret broth with stuff sauteed with it.
This one also I didn't try because you don't want to be scaring your colleagues like that.

Squid ink rice RM 25.80: omu egg with squid ink rice
While the egg didn't exactly deliver, it was still a good scrambled egg. As for the rice and squid, I did find it interesting. In a good way.

Orijinaru pancake RM 13.80: souffle pancake

It was my first time trying this. Rather exciting to see what the fuss was about.

Turned out to be somewhat flat on the inside. Lighter than a cake, better than a sponge cake.

Creme brulee RM 13.80

Yes, they both come together. The cream is sweet while the white ice is almost like a sorbet or yogurt, slightly sour. Both keeps the sweetness and sourness in check. Funny how opposites compliment but not in human relationship.

It was impressive how they got it this high and sent it to our table without any incidence.

A good birthday celebration 🙌
