LGK turned me 32: The beginning of a 1000step journey

After breakfast, we headed over to the cable car cum Oriental Village cum Geopark. So many cums that it's probably more than what some men get in a week. How do they all differ?

Based on the website, Geopark is like an ecotourism getaway of the adventure kind. Somehow, they are all located in the same vicinity.

Oriental Village is more like a tourist trap.

It looks rather impressive on the map but the place is relatively small, the main attraction being the cable car.

Yes, it does slightly resemble Tambun.

For the more adventurous kind, there is the water walking.

A water fountain as well to cool  the day away.

The bridge over troubled water.

The troubled water. Is it a Malaysian thing to have murky water?

The lilies were not in bloom. Otherwise, this may look rather pretty.

A suspended wooden bridge. Looking back at it, I should have tried to use this to my advantage. Damn.

Murky as the water was, there were fishes thriving there.
A short walk and nothing too scary.

Across the bridge, there were few shops but most of them were closed.

It felt quite wrong to be paying for alcohol using my super cute bear pouch but hey, it was a hot day and that's where my money was.
