Review: My French Factory, Langkawi
After dinner, it's time for dessert. I think that's the reason why my hot pants don't fit or eating into my flesh.Sexy? Um. If you find dumplings a turn-on, hell yea.
French crepes on Malaysian soil? Well, why not?
For me, crepes have always been a sweet affair but affairs by itself are rarely that. Maybe just in that split second but the aftermath is bitter as could be.
They also have savory crepes here if you are looking for a complete meal.
The place is rather small but the friendly owners do make for a rather nice place to chill.
Salted caramel waffle with vanilla ice cream.
How sinful is it?
Well, very. The caramel was nice and oozing atop the freshly made waffle. Not as light or airy as I'd prefer but still good. Somehow, this was on the neck of the terrorist attack in Paris so it was slightly uncomfortable/awkward that the French owners were all smiles and entertaining despite what's happening back home (for them). I felt like I should have offered my condolences to them instead =\
They were also rather accommodating when I requested to separate the ice cream from the waffle so that it doesn't melt onto the waffle, rendering it soggy.
Portion is just nice for sharing but maybe inadequate if you have a sweet tooth.

we are the owners! thanks for sharing your experience, and happy to read that you have enjoyed it!
For your information, we were wondering if after the attack in Paris we can open the shop or not... we decided to open, and as we are in F&B business we just can't host the customers without smiling so we assumed it... Sometimes, you have to smile inside, but outside you are not. Sharing with our customers was the best therapy for us, to forget and escape of all of these sad and bad moment... What's happened in our hometown was a shock, but "show must go on", to prove to these crazy people that they will never win...
