Thankful
- Tried new steak joint. Not that bad but certainly not that good
- Bought presents that truly represent what I wanted for the receiver and not just for the sake of it
- Rewarded myself with something that was nice and best of all, cheap.

Learnt
Men's ego are fragile.  Not that I meant to harp on their flaw but there should be a proper lesson from the mistake. Withholding the truth would only work for so long.
