Review: Wolf of Wall Street

When a fellow colleague was telling me sheepishly on how it is no wonder this movie is banned in Malaysia despite having a Malaysian producer (or something like that), I was somewhat intrigued. couzzie conceded with the fact that the movie was drug and sex fueled. How bad could it be?

Well, not really. Plus it is Martin Scorsese. And DiCaprio. Really, how bad can it be?

Similar to The Great Gatsby, DiCaprio succeeded in playing an over-the-top character, pulling it off convincingly. The wife, played by Cristin Milioti had a relatively short time on screen before the sexy Naomi took over her place. You may remember Milioti from How I Met Your Mother but you would probably be better acquainted with Naomi, played by Margot Robbie after the movie ends.

It is quite a tale of a man who worked his way up fast using the unconventional and possibly illegal way. Along the way, he hires his bunch of merry men and hookers and drugs. BJ entertainment. Now, that's a  nice way of claiming for your expenses. While this isn't the movie to watch with someone else (especially your family members or friends), it does make you want to get off the couch and work your ass off.
