Honolulu Cafe, Sunway Pyramid
Another HK style cafe. Unlike Kim Gary though, they don't offer set/value meals. So the meal is bound to be wee bit more expensive. It's great that they've moved on to metal straws which means I don't have to wash mine 😆 The drink is fairly large and not diluted/too sweet.
Apparently, their egg tart is the bomb. It's easy to see (and taste) why with its flaky crust and sweet filling. However, is it that special? I beg to differ.
French toast.
Copious amount of melted butter on top of a fried bread. Definitely sinful but the perfect tea time snack for lala muis. Like me.
Noodles in black bean sauce.
It was a little spicy and quite unexpected. The portion was quite large as well. Not tame in flavor, you can taste a bit of pepper with each bite.
Baked rice with Portuguese sauce. An acquired taste, this one. A hint of sourness in the curry with that melted cheese, it's hard to make sense of it. Bad? No, just takes a bit of getting used to.
