Located at the entrance/exit of Jaya Grocer, I think this is the first of their bakery that comes with a cafe with seating. The one in Mutiara Tropicana (while it was still operating) was just a bakery with takeaway only. The location is rather strategic and you can also sit outside if you prefer alfresco dining (and smelling the car fumes).
They do the usual cafe coffee on top of pastries. While their coffee art is evidently a hit and miss, the taste is at least good enough and definitely affordable. Of course, the ambiance is as basic as cafes get so don't come here looking for Instagram shots (hint: there's none).
As they were having some promo, we took up the offer and it came with cream cheese puffs. Maybe buns would be more accurate. One's a sweet cranberry, while the other's a savory original cream cheese. I have to say that both are good in their own ways. Most certainly paired well with the coffee.
