Chatterbox, Bangsar Village

My aunt used to raved a lot about this joint for their good food. To be honest, the setup looks simple, nothing fancy that it was hardly compelling for me to go try. Yet, on that fateful night, after one too many dinners at Delicious, I gave this place a shot as I was also in the mood for something simple.

While they didn't offer the set meals, the menu is similar to Kim Gary's, minus the Western influence. This is their hot and sour vermicelli soup with pig cheeks. Don't be fooled by the clear soup as it packs a punch with its bold sour and spicy notes. What was truly divine though were the meat. Soft and juicy, they seared it enough to have a crispy outer layer.

Certainly not disappointing at all.
