Sunbather Coffee, Bangsar South

A cafe with a Japanese twist, you can even sit on the floor like the Japanese do. The theme here is clean, bright and airy. All the things that I want of my house but isn't.

Their drinks menu is quite impressive. Coffee drinks of all kinds, it even came with jelly. The girls did enjoy their drinks which is very different from the usual lattes but they do  taste a little on the heavy side.

Hence, I stuck to my usual cappuccino. Plain and simple, does the job of waking me up right.

Fresh toast which was part of our deconstructed hamburger.

Beef hambagu RM 32: Juicy homemade 200g Hamburg steak made from Australian beef, served with steamed Japanese baguette with demi-glace

The clean and bright theme extends to their food in both presentation and taste. This is basically a packed minced meat in some sweet sauce. For those of who you don't like the usual greasy burgers, this would be right up your alley. If you're like me and like it dirty (salty, juicy), then you're not going to enjoy this much.

Egg & smoked salmon buckwheat galette RM 31: perfect soft boiled egg nested in smoked salmon slices, baby spinach tossed in lemon marmalade, toasted pine nuts
Think of this as the healthier (and more expensive) version of thosai. Sadly, it didn't come with any curry/sauce so overall, kinda dry.
