Village Pantry, Bangsar Village

I'd like to think that this is Bangsar Village's answer of a food court. Don't let that fool you as the tenants are not your run-of-the-mill vendors. There's the more affordable Sisters Crispy Popiah and more mid range choices such as this in-house stall. Sorry, I don't think there's a name for them.

The choices are somewhat limited but if you're not too picky, you can go for either Korean, healthy (salad bar), pasta (yes, pasta bar) and a grilled station.

 Pineapple roast chicken ~RM 18.90
You can pick from few different sauces and this was BBQ which was kinda sweet especially when paired with a pineapple-marinated chicken. No sides, all meat but it is half of a rather meaty chicken. While the portion is great, I found the flavor a bit too sweet for chicken.

Grilled chicken leg with 2 sides and mushroom sauce.
This was more enjoyable as it didn't come with strong flavors, just a basic hint of herbs. I opted for grilled veggie and mashed potatoes (yes, you can pick your sides too). For the same price, I find this is more worth it as you get a rather complete wholesome meal of protein, carbs and fiber.

Oh, and if you're curious about their more expensive menu.
