It took the suggestion of someone from outside of PJ to get me to try this place that's been around for ages. There are quite a few eateries in PJ that I have yet to try. Not because for the lack of interest, mainly motivation, mostly money.

The menu is rather standard, with the usual fish ball and noodles offering. There are also snacks. Most of which are not too expensive.

Hot tea since it was a cold night. We waited a fair bit since one was caught in meeting.

Yam cake RM 3.50
For someone who generally don't like this, it turned out quite good. Probably because of the dried shrimp that gave it a nice salty bite.

Fish cake, tau kan & Fu chu RM10
An appetizer of sorts. Generally, the fish paste didn't taste too fishy and they've been deep fried until slightly crunchy on the outside.

Mini dumpling RM 7
Nicely charred on the bottom. Perfect with the vinegar and ginger slices. The filling didn't taste of chives or too meaty.

Fried porridge for 2 RM13
Interestingly good. Portion is quite huge even for two sharing. It has a bit of dried squid taste. Topped with bits of fried lard, it's a comfort food on rainy nights.

Tang Pin mee pok RM 7
Similar to hakka mee but less salty, only thing missing is the caramelized fatty sweet roast pork aka char siew

Handmade fish ball RM7
Definitely worth the visit. You know how some places serve fish balls that tasted like the fish is still rotting away? I kinda hate that happen and only copious amount of chili would mask that. This was not fishy at all. Springy texture that goes boing in your mouth.

Fried loh shu fan
Slightly spicy and similar to mamak mee goreng style. A big portion for one. They also didn't go stingy with the meat either.

Somebody's dessert.
Sorry, it was obviously not mine so I didn't get to try it.
