Another one of those places that used social media as a marketing tool, Country Pots gave a value-for-money impression that I felt it was apt to give them a try since I was in the vicinity anyway. Currently, there are not one but two deals running, both of which are for the same thing. Fave charges RM 27 while HungryGoWhere will set you back at a lower price of RM 25. However, the original is just RM 27.90. So it's not that big of a savings. Maybe to pay for parking. If you don't want the buffet, they do have a normal set as well going for about RM 15.

If you checked both the deal sites, you'd notice both their pictures are quite different. Now, don't be fooled. Neither of them are true. They don't have the food available for you to take. Instead, you order off the menu and they'll pick it up for you from their kitchen. Sorry but I forgot to take pictures of the food. Not that I was very disappointed with the quality; just really hungry to eat.

This is a sample of them. Although it's a buffet style, it irked me that one plate of meat would mean just 2miserables slices of those. So on the bottom plate, that's 2plates worth of fish and chicken each. Another 2plates worth of the beef and pork at the top. It's bad enough that the meat is sliced very thinly and short, you're not making them look anymore appetizing with such miserable display. Thankfully, they didn't seem to be not fresh. Not premium quality but passable.

We ordered the tom yum and miso soups. Somehow, the miso flavor didn't really come true, it was a bit too salty. The tom yum was quite nice.

I like to cook my egg in steamboat by first breaking it onto the ladle, place it into the boiling soup for few minutes for it to cook. This helps in ensuring that the egg doesn't mix into the soup (too much). However, sometimes, this happens. Actually, this is the first time it happened. And it just so conveniently reminded me of jewels. Not the kind that I'd to have. Heck, it even jiggles when I move the ladle around.
