I'd like to think of this place as a sleepy part of PJ. However, the lack of parking space speaks otherwise. The place is more lively during the daytime but at night, there are the few exceptional restaurants doing brisk business. I wouldn't say this is one of it but they have been around for quite some time and seems to be doing strong.

Steamed three eggs RM8
For the same price, I could probably cook two of this portion, if not more. But I have to admit that they went easy with the seasoning and left the eggs on its own. Just the right amount of salt to balance the delicate and soft egg. Almost silky like the Japanese version but not quite.

Yam abacus RM 14
How can you step into a Hakka joint and not order this? Actually, you can if you don't like yam or anything chewy. While it doesn't even taste remotely like yam (taste and texture wise), biting into these ancient calculator-lookalike is going to remind you of Chatime's Tealive's tapioca pearl. A stark contrast with the egg, this dish was very full flavored, thanks to the mushroom and minced pork.

Mui choy pork RM 14
Fatty meat that's been braised with preserved mustard green, the dish is a bit too salty on its own but perfect with rice. The meat has been cooked so long that it just falls apart with a stroke of your fork.

This place serves some good dishes (authentic or not) but price may be a bit steep considering the portion.
