Review: Ikah, Aman Suria
Jalan PJU 1/11,

To
be honest, I don't know for sure if they still operate at night as of
the few times I've passed by for dinner, the place was closed. This neighborhood is very unforgiving. You either make it or just die soon
enough. If you happen to see it open, this should help you decide what to order. Also, maybe you should go buy lottery.Otherwise, this post is probably good for nothing. Only to eat up some space. Of which, I actually do have plenty of.
Some Chinese restaurants offer a 'free' soup of the day. They are usually made of chicken (bones and skin) with some vegetables. The usual suspects would be cabbage. Surprisingly, this one offered something different. Couldn't pin point the taste but it had more flavor. Savory. Not quite home cooked but better than those from the economy rice shops.
Stir fried lettuce with garlic. Nothing fancy here.
Fried fish slices with egg and chili. Kinda like fried shrimp with butter egg. Although it's dry, I forgive them because the fish was really crispy and the egg was a web of fine strands.
It's unfortunate that they couldn't stand the nearby competition.
