Review: Pablo Cheesetart, 1Utama

Will Pablo give Tokyo Secret a run for its money? The funny thing is, although there's only one branch in Malaysia currently, there isn't any crazy ass line. Waiting time was bearable. Is it because they learn from (others') previous mistake? Or have they just a better crew? Either way, they opened their doors for business few months ago and while there was some hype, it didn't seem like people are making a beeline for their tarts.

They have non-cheese tarts e.g. drinks but I was happy to settle for the mini cheese tart which isn't so mini in price at RM 7.90, the costliest of them all. So, how does it fare against its competitors?

Well, price wise, it is really high. The crust wasn't the flaky type. Not my favorite but I don't dislike it either. As for the filling, the cheese flavor isn't as prominent as Tokyo Secret's but more so than Hokkaido's. More milky taste than cheese.

They do have the bigger version, a full version of the cheese cake at RM 45. Unless someone buys it for me, it is a difficult one to indulge in myself.
