Movies: A Clockwork Orange

Conditioning to eradicate bad behavior instead of addressing it, well, at least they are not up to no good, right? It's just like you are not set on bringing others down, you just don't want to look bad yourself.

A film that's famous for a plethora of reasons, of course sex is one of it but here, it's packaged rather nicely in the form of art. However, unlike Nymphomaniac, the sex is rather crass. Thus thankfully, there aren't much of it. You do have nudity in its place but bear in mind, whatever that you are watching is back in 1971. So, gravity and mother nature would have taken place and if you are not like me, would notice that the lead actor who is cute in the film is really old enough to be your grandparent.

That is if they are not dead yet.

The movie is set in a future  where law and order don't quite exists. If our society behaves in such a manner, it will degrade and civilization will lose its progress. Unfortunately, it does seem that we are headed towards that direction with more irresponsible parties breeding away. With each successive generation, our stupidity has gotten to the stage where we don't even know that we are stupid.

While I am not condoning such unlawful behavior (breaking in, raping or in-and-out as the movie calls it), wouldn't it be good to put some measure in place so that we don't degrade anymore than we already have? Yes, my feelings toward humanity today is bleak. Our future holds nothing more than a wasteland. There are those of us trying to change that. Unfortunately, the majority lies on the other end of the spectrum.

We are doomed.

I know I don't do enough to change. Whining and bitching contribute nothing.
But the least I could is not add to the stupidity and let it end with me.
