XXXIII: Best beef noodle

 Not feeling very full from the tomato soup noodle, we ventured further along Da'an district for more food and found this beef noodle shop. At that point, most of the beef noodle that we had weren't exciting and it made me wonder why people rave about it. 

Without much of any expectation except to not feel hungry, we gave this a try. 

The noodles are like thick pan mee you get here. Instead of giving thinly sliced beef which they usually do so that it'll cook in the hot soup when served, they provide thick cuts of beef that's been cooked for sometime so it's tender to the bite. The soup was light but definitely taste of beef, a much welcomed change. With this, my faith in Taiwanese cuisine is renewed.
