One thing that I was definitely looking forward to was a visit to the tea plantation. There are a few to pick. If you want the more popular one, Boh's Tea Plantation would be your best pick.

The road leading up there is rather windy. At some spots, it can get bumpy due to potholes.

A trip here is best after lunch, before tea time to avoid the usual crowds when going up and coming down. It is literally a drive going up a hill. Along the way, there're bushes and bushes of tea. Maybe depending on the season.

It's funny how the distance isn't that big from the foot of the hill yet it took quite awhile, thanks to the winding and narrow roads.

The final leg of the journey requires some literal leg work. No more driving. Or even any escalator to bring you up.

The famous Boh cafe sitting at the edge of the hill.

For someone who exercises on an almost daily basis, I did find the walk up a little challenging. Can I attribute it to the higher altitude and the slightly cold weather?

The view isn't amazing but definitely very different from the skyscrapers I'm used to. Or at least the countless roads and traffic jams.

Welcome to the tea center.
It can be divided into two section: on  the left is the cafe, right is the shops and educational center.

The elephants and I share something in common apart from size 🐘

There are also factory tours which I was very keen on. Unfortunately, either they cancelled it or not enough guests to host one 😭 Are you the kind who enjoys to learn more about your holiday destination or just like to bask in the moment? More like do the same thing back home during the weekends.

I just feel that if you're going to do the same thing after paying so much money, what's the point?

The cafe was understandably rather popular. It serves tea, cakes and some savory bites. Just don't expect a full meal unless you want to gorge on cakes and pastries.

While Boh didn't have much humor in their smoking PSA, I think they did a pretty good job still by showing the gory stuff. But then again, cigarette boxes have long been printed with diseased organs and that did jackshit in deterring people.

Would you still smoke if it reduces your productivity? What about libido? 😂That you can't get it up at all.

Afternoon tea for two 🍵

The money shot... which didn't come out so good. I think it's time to get a better camera phone.

I had their lychee with rose tea. You can definitely taste both in the cup. Frankly speaking, I'm not a fan of Boh tea. At all. Their tea tends to get too potent even if you let them sit for just a few minutes. Nobody got time to remove the bag out of the water when time's up. They only make sense if you're making tea with sugar or milk or even both.

The carrot cake was not bad. The icing is made of cream cheese. Not too dry, kinda moist, great with the hot tea.

If you managed to get a table at the verandah, be ready to endure other visitors trying to get their Instagram shot. Annoying tbh.

Which is why we sat inside. Almost the same scenery, minus the commotion.

The only time I get to see this much of greens would be driving to Ipoh. It does get boring after awhile. But die die also must spend some time here to get our money and time worth, after going through the road and walk.

It can get rather chilly here, thanks to the wind. So come with a proper jacket or shawl at least.

If green's your thing, you can commemorate that in your wedding album too. Yes, you can do a photoshoot here. No idea how much that'll set you back though.

Maybe mother nature and I are not the best of buds so it's a lost art on me.

Sure, green's good. Green's great for your healthy. But in your wedding album? Good on ya 😉
