This row of shops have seen a burst of hipster joints. If only the same could be said about the availability of parking spots. Fusion Canteen isn't so new but if you compare to the likes of Teochew Duck, it's kinda new.

Offering fusion Asian-Western dishes, prices are relatively reasonable. 

Fusion chicken chop RM 12.90
Portion isn't huge but good enough if you're not in the mood for eating a whole horse. The chicken was pan fried quite well, sauce is closer to a mix of mushroom with hint of pepper. Coleslaw was kinda creamy. Nothing exceptionally good but great enough to satisfy the hunger.

Spicy miso ramen with yakibuta pork slice RM 9.50
I was probably expecting too much to be disappointed when this arrived. Portion was smallish. The 'ramen' was not instant noodle but definitely the kind you get at Ippudo. The egg was hard boiled instead of a runny one. Meanwhile, the pork slices feel like a softer version of char siew. I would have preferred them to be more fatty, melt-in-your-mouth type.

Of course, that's an unfair comparison for a RM 10 noodle versus RM 20. It was still good in its own way. Just don't expect it to be strong with the pork or miso flavor. And spicy? Nah.
