Delicious has certainly transformed itself over the years. From when it first started out as a side project of Ms. Read, it was evident that Delicious was poised for bigger things and they've since expanded to different locations. Their menu still focuses on Western dishes with some local and desserts. Sadly, their prices have also gone up tremendously like their popularity.

Homemade basil pesto with parmesan pine nuts and basil RM 25

Don't be fooled by the large plate as portion isn't tat small. Also the shaved parmesan contributes to making you full. I wished that the pasta was cooked a little longer and maybe a bit more pesto (or olive oil?) used so that the dish isn't so dry.

Creamy salmon gravadlax with asparagus, lemon and parsley RM 31

Salmon pairs exceptionally well with lemon; the savory note with the citrus zing. An odd couple but yes, it works. The pasta sauce isn't too creamy or maybe it's the lemon that made it so. I found that they used old asparagus so they were slightly fibrous. Salmon was awesome with the cream sauce, if only there were more of it (the fish).
